There are many variations of latex including 100% Natural, Blended Natural with Synthetic, Synthetic and Organic. There are also two ways in which they are processed, Talalay and Dunlop. Many companies will use a variation of two or more latexes and processes. At Salinas Mattress Company, we only use 100% Natural Latex in the Talalay process. 100% Natural Latex is inherently hypo-allergenic, anti-microbial and dust-mite resistant. Because it breathes it removes body moisture to keep you warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. The Talalay process has a more consistent cell structure from top to bottom and edge to edge creating a more uniform sleep environment.
